Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist

Sarah McCave, M.A., CCC-SLP

Hi I’m Sarah and the owner of Little Speech Blessings LLC. I’ve been a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for almost 20 years. I’ve worked in schools, private practice and clinics and I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all ages including Early Intervention aged through High School. I am a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am currently located in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

I amd here because I care—not just about helping your child improve their speech and language skills, but about making sure you and your family feel supported every step of the way!

I believe that every child has a voice that deserves to be heard. My goal is to help them feel confident using that voice—to connect with their family, make friends, participate at school, and express who they are. I want communication to feel empowering, not frustrating.

I take a whole child approach to therapy. That means I look beyond the speech or language goal—I take time to understand who your child is, what lights them up, what challenges they’re facing, and how I can best support their growth in a way that’s meaningful to them. No two children are the same, so every session is thoughtfully tailored to meet their unique needs, strengths, and interests.

While I bring structure and intention to each session, I also leave space for flexibility, play, and child-led moments—because that’s where connection and progress truly happen!

More than anything, I believe in partnership. I want to work with you—to help your child carry their skills beyond the therapy room and into their daily life. Whether it’s at home, in school, or out in the community, I want them to feel confident, understood, and proud of how they communicate.

Families often share that they appreciate my patience, my ability to connect, and how easy I make the process feel. I love what I do, and I’m honored to walk alongside families as their children grow and thrive.

If you're looking for a thoughtful, compassionate therapist who’s committed to your child’s progress and your family’s journey—I’d love to connect!
